Fresh Bread for Families in Gaza

Bread Baked in Gaza, for Gaza

Bread is the base of every meal here. For families who have lost their homes and their income, a steady supply of it is hard to find. UMMA runs a bread program inside Gaza that bakes and delivers fresh bread every week. No middlemen. No waiting. Bread made locally and handed straight to the families who need it.

Each week the program produces and distributes 150 bread packages, reaching around 150 families. Every package holds 12 to 15 freshly baked pieces, enough to cover a family's daily bread. This is real help that arrives on a schedule families can count on.

Work That Restores Dignity

The bread is made by hand by five women who are facing hardship of their own. They prepare, bake, and package every piece. The program gives them steady, paid work and a role that matters. This is how UMMA builds. We create jobs while we meet a need, so help moves in more than one direction.

A Need That Returns Every Day

Hunger in Gaza is not a one-time event. Families need bread today, and again tomorrow. That is why this program runs week after week, not once. Your support keeps the ovens on, the women employed, and the bread moving to the families counting on it. Build. Serve. Scale.
