I'm Moe Sayed, and I want to share with you the journey that led to the creation of UMMA. Over the past 18 years, I've been deeply involved in the world of real estate, building a business portfolio that has been both challenging and rewarding. But throughout my career, I've always felt a strong pull towards something greater—towards making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.
In 2021, this passion drove me to establish UMMA. I realized that while I could make a difference on my own, the power of collective action could amplify that impact far beyond what I could achieve alone. UMMA was born out of a desire to unite people around a common goal: to provide sustainable support to communities in crisis and to create long-lasting change.
Since our inception, we've expanded our efforts to 23 countries, providing over one million meals to families, funding emergency surgeries for children, and supplying thousands with fresh bread daily. But this is just the beginning.
At UMMA, we operate on four core values: Compassion, Integrity, Innovation and Collaboration. These principles guide every decision we make, ensuring that our work is not only impactful but also done with the utmost transparency and creativity.
