Childhood Should Not Look Like This
In Gaza, many children are fasting in the middle of destruction.
Their homes are damaged.
Their neighborhoods are in ruins.
Their routines are gone.
Yet when Maghrib arrives, they still sit and wait; hoping there will be something warm to break their fast.
For many families, there is nothing prepared.
Today, we distributed 500 freshly prepared hot Iftar meals.
Nutritious. Warm. Filling.
For children living through hardship, this meal is more than food.
It is comfort.
It is relief.
It is a reminder that they are not forgotten.
But Ramadan has just begun.
Every sunset in Ramadan requires preparation.
Every meal requires funding.
