Sudan Is in Crisis. Ramadan Does Not Stop the Hunger. But You Can.

Sudan is experiencing one of the most severe humanitarian crises on the planet. Years of conflict, displacement, and economic collapse have left millions of families without reliable access to food, shelter, or safety. For these families, Ramadan is not a month of abundance, it is a month of survival.

When the Adhan calls at Iftar, many of them have nothing to break their fast with. No warm meal. No table. No certainty that tomorrow will be any different.

Our teams have been on the ground in Sudan this Ramadan, preparing and distributing hot Iftar meals directly to the families who need them most sitting together, eating together, breaking their fast with dignity.

These are not statistics. These are people. Boys sitting cross-legged on mats, hands raised in du'a before the meal. Volunteers in yellow vests carrying buckets of food through dusty streets before sunset. Hundreds of plates laid out in rows; each one prepared with care, each one waiting for a hungry person to sit down.

We are in the last 10 nights of Ramadan. The Prophet ﷺ intensified everything in these nights; his worship, his giving, his presence. These are the nights that contain Laylatul Qadr, a single night worth more than a thousand months. What you give now carries a weight that no other moment in the year can match.
