We started because Palestinian families who have fled to Egypt cannot wait for a fundraising campaign to finish. So we did not wait either. We began 70 days ago. The ducks are ready today.
It is extremely difficult to cross into Gaza right now. But thousands of Palestinian families have already made it into Egypt, and some of them are living in El-Arish, right by the border. That is where the ducks are going. Straight to the families who are already there.
Raising 3,000 ducks was the half we could do on our own. Getting them from our farm to a family in El-Arish is not.
Between the farm and the border is the work no one sees. Every duck slaughtered halal and processed. Kept cold on a long road across the country. Cleared through border coordination. Carried the last stretch by teams on the ground. This is the last mile, and it is the hardest and most costly part of the whole operation. It is also exactly where your donation goes.
Final delivery depends on border coordination. When each distribution is done, we post the proof: photos and confirmations from El-Arish. You will see where it went.
